We started Rang-e-Rah because we couldn't find an expedition to Pakistan we'd actually want to go on. So we run them now, for you.

Sami

Assalamu alaikum, hello and welcome! My name is Sami, and I'll be your guide. I'd love to show you my beautiful country and share its history, traditions, and culture with you. We won't always follow the typical tourist routes, but that's exactly how we discover the hidden gems and authentic experiences that most visitors never get to see.

I take care of all the logistics, so you can focus on what really matters – enjoying the journey, meeting new people, and creating unforgettable memories. Being a guide is more than just a job for me; it's a lifestyle and a true passion. I enjoy sharing stories, introducing local flavors, and giving you a genuine insight into my country through the eyes of someone who calls it home.

When I'm not guiding, my other big passion is football. So if you're a football fan too, I'm sure we'll have plenty to talk about along the way!

Paulina

Hi, I'm Paulina, and I take care of the Polish side of our organization. From my first visit to Pakistan, I knew there was something special about this country. The atmosphere of its cities, chai on almost every street corner, and people whose kindness can be almost overwhelming made me feel at home right away.

The mountains completely amazed me, and I'd love to help you experience that feeling too. I love long walks with no destination, sitting with a coffee on a busy street, and watching everyday life unfold around me.

Why Pakistan? Because you'll find all of that there. ;)

How we work

We run trips with a maximum of 10 people. Every expedition has a Polish or English-speaking leader, plus a local guide at each stage. We never outsource a whole expedition to a local operator — we're with you the entire time.

We work with partner travel insurers (mandatory cover, we'll help you pick). Leaders carry mountain first-aid certifications. Every expedition has an evacuation plan — better to have it and not need it.

Why Pakistan

Because it's one of the last places where mountains, people, and culture still leave a real impression. Because the hospitality in Hunza is unlike anywhere else. Because if you go once, you'll probably come back.

And because nowhere else on Earth do three of the world's greatest mountain ranges meet in a single country. In Pakistan's north the Karakoram — home to K2 and more peaks above 8,000 m than any other range — runs straight into the western Himalaya, crowned by Nanga Parbat, and the Hindu Kush along the Afghan frontier. Our expeditions are built around exactly this crossroads.
